I've been to a few wedding mixers and expos in Las Vegas and, on occasion, I've had to stop dead in my tracks to take in the sultry sweet sounds of Ricardo Griego. He's usually tucked away in some corner of the room- strumming along without a care in the world. He's totally unassuming and yet his musical talent cannot be denied! 1. Who are you?
I am Ricardo Griego, Spanish/Classical Guitarist from Santa
Fe New Mexico. I have a Bachelor's Degree from the San Francisco
Conservatory of Music and a Master's Degree from the University of Southern
California both in Music Performance. Nature and the flow of nature is
my inspiration.
2. What service do you provide?
To the Wedding World I provide acoustic guitar (with that signature Spanish Guitar sound) for all parts of the wedding to include the processional and recessional (Music before the ceremony, the ceremony itself, the reception/cocktail time and music for the dinner).
3. Why did you start your business?
I started the wedding side of my business naturally out of my performance relationships with resorts, hotels, and other venues. I realized that my music and performance style was an easy fit for musical services needed at weddings.
4. How do you offer exceptional service to your clients?
I strive to be as professional as possible with emphasis on presentation. In my opinion, in music it is about the quality and not the quantity of the sound. I enjoy working with my clients in providing that extra special touch that adds to their special day.
